    Hey everyone,

I go by BroBear, and I just wanted to say what's up before I start building my mining rig. Does anyone know where I might be able to find some GPUs for under like $300? Amazon and eBay are so expensive right now...

    Anyways, just saying hello!

Hey BroBear. GPUs for under $300 are going to be tough to find right now since most places can't even keep them on the shelves at their current high prices. If you are looking for inexpensive alternative GPUs that will work effectively, I am using the MSI Radeon RX 570 Gaming X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 which is about $290 right now and I am pulling 21-22 MH/s.
    Hope that helps.

I have to agree with @SteMiranda on this one. Your best bet for under $300 would probably be an AMD RX 470 but even that's probably going to be a stretch. On the Nvidia side, there's almost no chance you're going to go under $300 without getting something that's borderline unprofitable. I would just go with RX 480s or 580s at this point and try to find them at somewhat reasonable prices at brick-and-mortar stores. Might have to stand in line, but it's worth it.
